Kyle Harris
Kyle Harris, the tenor for His Heart, was born and raised in London, KY. He is a pharmacist with a doctoral degree in the practice of pharmacy from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. He works at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly and is also an Adjunct Professor at University of Cumberlands in the Physician Assistant Studies program. He has been a part of His Heart since 2014 when he joined as the pianist and stepped into the tenor position in 2016. When he's not travelling with His Heart, Kyle attends and plays piano at Bald Rock Baptist Church in London, KY.
Jeremy Dickerson
Jeremy Dickerson is the lead singer for His Heart. He grew up listening to his dad sing southern gospel music and developed a love for it at an early age. He began his singing career as a teenager with Chosen from Frankfort, KY and was a founding member of The Dickersons, a trio formed with his dad and sister. He sang with Southern Harmony Quartet from Russell Springs, KY for 6 years and left in 2012 to tour the country in full time ministry with Lawrenceburg, IN based Forgiven Trio. After making the decision to spend more time with his family, Jeremy lucked into the lead singer position with His Heart Quartet in 2016.
Jeremy and his wife Ashley make their home in Lawrenceburg, KY, where they were high school sweethearts, and attend Sand Spring Baptist Church.
Bill Sowder
Bill Sowder, baritone and group owner/manager, has been singing gospel music for over 40 years. His love and passion for Southern Gospel music, and sharing God's message through song, is evident to everyone who attends a HIS HEART QUARTET concert. As a writer, Bill has penned, "He Paid Too Much For Me," "Thank God For A Hill Called Calvary," and the ever popular "He Is So Wonderful," which charted nationally. As one who never meets a stranger, Bill's easy going personality has made friends with audiences across the country. Once you meet him, you are friends for life!
He lives in Mt. Vernon, KY and attends Bible Baptist Church, in Mt. Vernon, KY.
Bob Abbott
Bob Abbott, the bass singer for His Heart, has had a love for gospel music his entire life. Bob's first experience in gospel music was with His Witnesses and he sang with them for five years. He attended music school under the direction of Charles Novell where he was taught the importance of daily vocal training. Bob had the pleasure of being part of the Messengers Quartet for eight years, and he also sang with the Lexington Police and Fire Quartet every Christmas for twenty years. Bob retired as a Captain on the Lexington Fire Department after 26 years of service.
He is married to Brenda and they have three children - Jason, Whitney and Robbie. They also have four grandchildren - Evie Rose, Jackson, Kallie and Carter. He attends Crosswoods Baptist Church.
Bob's desire is to finish strong for the Lord in his life and music ministry and believes that is why God has led him to His Heart.
